Hi!

In the past days I've finished the decalling work and I've added a raw umber oil wash to pick up some details and tone down a little bit the colors. I've also added the pilot MG. A little bit tricky to add it with the closed fuselage, but it has been a lot easier to paint all without this fragile item non installed

As you can see from this picture taken with natural light the painted colors are very similar to the decal colors but not the same, as I think were also on the real plane. I'm quite pleased with the result  Big Grin - :D

I painted the propeller. I've layed down a sand base color, hand painted the dark color and finally added a thin coat coat of oil paint to blend all. Then a clear cover and decals.

Some details of the tail

And finally the progress on the mg, still missing some paint

Now I've only to assembly and add the rigging, I think I'll finish it during next week.

Andrew,
Stunning! Your work is absolutely top notch. The clean and crisp details as seen on the MG are what will put this Build in a class by itself and the prop work is magnificent. Nicely done, really looking forward to the spread in the completed section.
Cheers,
Lance

Hi Andrew, apart from the fact that the Hannover is one of my favourite planes since I was a boy, I really love your build!! The colours are exactly the way, I would like to have them - when at last I will tackle my WnW Hannover... Rock on!

Thanks for the nice comments!

A small update.
I've attached the wing mounts and all the turnbuckles (Gaspatch ones) and attachment points.
Tomorrow I'll mount the top wing and start the rigging
