Say, Andrew, concerning turnbuckles: How do you know how many of which kind of turnbuckles do you need? As I also have WnW's Hannover, I would be happy to know... I have been on Gaspatch's Website some several times, but never ordered any turnbuckles as I am always left helpless in front of all those different kinds, types and versions of turnbuckles!!

Another outstanding update. The rigging on the tail surfaces is wonderful!

Hi !

A quick update (not the best pictures, but I hadn't much time..)

I've positioned the top wing ( no problems, great work WnW  :D ) and started the rigging.
In another couple of evening I should have finished and then I've only to add some small details and retouch something

Andrew,

hard to see for me in your photos: what kind of turnbuckles do you use?

Regards,
Stefan

Well, I think about 10 or 12.. I have to count them   :D
Not too much however, it's not a complicate rigging

Finished!  ;D

The last work was to add the streamers under the wings.
Here you can see them on the real aircraft:

I've painted them on alumium stripes (not too precise, but they will be rolled up...  ::) ) and then installed on the model.

And here's the finished model :

I'm very proud of the result. Not perfect, but very close to what I wanted, and when I've started it I was worried by all the masking and free hand airbrushing needed.
I had no big problems during the build apart from the aileron decal...
I hope you've enjoyed it
Now I'll post more pictures in the completed models thread.

Andrew, I don't know where I was but I missed most of your build log.
I did rectify the matter by reading the whole thing, and you, my friend
have created a true gem!  The amount of work you have put into it is
amazing, but the results are absolutely sublime.  You really have something
few would even think of tackling.  I really have to hand it to you. Very well done! :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)
