Have fun with the per-shading and don't be afraid to try different colours . Try it out on a scrap wing so you can get a feel for the effect you are looking for .  ;)

Small up-date , lower rib tapes are now finished and clean up on the resin engine has started . I will need to go back and thin the inside of the cowl a bit more .

I did manage to get the upper rib tapes cut , now just need to apply them which should happen this weekend . Once this stage is done the rest should go a bit faster with the final painting leading into assembly and then rigging , which I'm glad there isn't a lot to this bird .

Thanks Chris , I do admit that for the past few days I have been extremely lazy and enjoy the beautiful weather we are having before that white stuff starts falling and is here to stay for the next 6 months  :'(  I have stated the top tapes but nothing worth a picture yet ...

Thanks my friend  8) I have started a bit of work on the rear off the engine , it's casting is off a bit and I'm toying with how much mods I need to make without losing the detail on the cylinder tops .

Not exactly the amount I was shooting for but here is my efforts so far with the top rib tapes . I do believe I made the right choice on using Microsculpt . Contrasts very well with Aviattic's .

Thank-you Martin , Dan and Ernie Rib tapes are done ! Just waiting for the clear coat to dry and then I can add the national markings . Pic's coming very very soon !

I think I found a way and so far test fitting is yielding good results . I have one more cylinder to place with a bit more test fitting for the final results and will explain more at that time . If it doesn't work back to the drawing borad as they say ...
