Hello Kevin and Des,

Thank you for the nice comments, as always much appreciated! Des without that little jig, it would have been very difficult for me.

Kind regards
Patrick

Sorry, Patrick -

Just catching up with your build - looking great so far - your seat modification was clever as was the method you used for setting up the cabane struts.

Is this the 32nd scale Roden N28?  If so, I've built this one in the past myself and thought it was one of Roden's best kit in this scale.

Dave

Thank you very much Dave for the kind words. Indeed it is the Roden kit in 1/32 scale. I must say that the kit (up to now) gave me not many problems, but the top wing still needs to be installed. I like this a/c very much and this will certainly not be my last one. I meanwhile received the beautiful seat that Ron made and this  is a lot nicer than the one I made.

Cheers
Patrick

Hi all,

The Nieuport is finished. It was a pleasant a/c to make and the kit was good imho.
Thank you for stopping by.

Kind regards
Patrick

Beautiful job Patrick!  That's the scheme I will be doing when I get around to this aircraft.  She's a real inspiration. ;D  Very well done!

Cheers,

Bob

Superb job, Patrick -

This is a good kit from Roden and you have certainly done it justice, mate.  I assume the swirling markings on the cowling are decals?

Patrick,
All I can say is WOW! What a beautiful Nieuport you have built!! You have far surpassed my humble build. Your cowling is perfect, rigging is excellent, and the paint work is gorgeous! I cant say enough about this one!!

Patrick,
Absolutely beautiful; great colours and painting, nicely done rigging, and clean work. You should be proud of this one.............She's a real winner!
What's next on the workbench?

Hello Bob, Martin, Dave, Rick and Lance,

Thank you so much for your so kind comments and appreciation  :). It is very much apprerciated coming from you so highly skilled modelers (and I mean that!)
I owe a lot to the build logs of all.
Bob :       I'm sure your Nieuport will be a terrific one once you tackle it
Martin:     Thank you, do you plan to do it sometime?
Dave :     Yes, the swirlings on the engine cowling are decals, not an easy job but once one side done, the other side was much easier.
Rick :       How can you say that, yours was just another scheme, which I liked very much too and your painting skills largely surpass mine. I liked your colors very much , a bit softer than Roosevelt's a/c, and I like soft coloring. this one is a bit "crowded" I think.
Lance:      I'm still thinking about that, probably a Spad VII

Thank you again gentleman

Kind regards
Patrick

Hello Patrick:

Great job on the Nie 28!!  This was one of my earlier efforts and I thought the kit went together quite well.  You did a great job on this especially with those pesky cowling swirls.  Not an easy task lining those up and keeping symetry.  I don' t think the colors look crowded at all, they look spot on to me.  Looking forward to your SPAD.   ;)

Best

Mark

Hello Mark,

Thank you my friend for your kind words. Your cowling on your Nieuport served as an example to me. You were so kind to send me a good photo of it at the time. What I meant by "crowded" was not the painting itself, I like it, but the number of numbers "14" all over and the white paint above the fuselage. As it seems it was the marking of a flight leader I did it for the authenticity. But it is a lovely plane and the build was very enjoyable.
Thank you again my friend

Patrick
