    Great choice Doug, still IMHO the best overall of the Wingnut Wings line and one you don't want to chance missing. I did it back almost 5 years ago in McKeever's and Powell's colors, A-7288, and it's still probably the favorite in my cabinet. Here's a link if you think it might be of use.

   Lance, allow me to emend my Laphroig induced errata from the other night...F2b, not FB2...of course...just a bit too obsessive to let that hang there but while we're back on the subject of illustrious Bristol tandems, I'll start another thread in 'time to relax' about a pair of characters who served with 48 RFC.....and characters they were.

Doug,
    Honestly LMAO!! I missed it but at that time of night I missed your "Laphroig induced errata" (no doubt due to my own Macallan induced similar affliction) so we are even, although on opposite sides of the Scotch Single Malt Whisky palate! Apparently great men behave alike! ;)
Cheers,
Lance

The day after I ask questions about Aviattic decals, my Order arrives. I think I understand now why these look so good.
I also,got the quick boost tensioners.  Peculiar looking in black, but they are very fine.

I've managed to get all my stuff out of the extremely well padded box - German efficiency in action.

This is pretty much what was in it. The prices were very, very good, and I happened to get an extra 10% "Easter Holiday" discount, so I filled my boots, so to speak, and ordered away like a man possessed.

Giant Cutting Mat, A1 size. I need all the space I can get.

HobbyZone 2 Drawer Unit - I have a lot of various Hobbyzone units, but I've been 1 unit short for months. Tho sorts that out:

WNW Post-War Ninak - for the size of the box, this is a very heavy kit. Promises much!

Nieuport 27, at a lot less than 30 delivered. Bargain.

And a Nieuport 28. Prices too low to ignore, and a colourful kit.

Various Eduard machine guns. You can never have too many machine guns when modelling WWI aviation.
20180412_201956 by dekenba1, on Flickr

Selection of AM for WWII stuff. Pair of Merlins for Tamiya's Mossie is a bit of an indulgence, but in my defence they cost less than 40 for the pair, and they truly are kits in themselves, with 120 parts & PE included. Great dio possibilities. The Stuka cockpit was also a bargain, and contains a hell of a lot.

Here we have some more gun barrels, Brengun's Roden Siemens-Schuckert PE set, as well as 2 packs of turnbuckles to try. Look a little flat, but we'll see. CMK's Spitfire Mk II detail set for the Revell kit, should make a big difference. And then Rosie the Riveter tools, in single & double, at 1mm and 0.75mm. Can't wait to try them out
20180412_202242 by dekenba1, on Flickr

Bunch of WWI AM, including Eduard's 1/32 stitching, Eduard's 1/32 lacing & Eduards 1/32 Wires and Stretchers, which I've never tried before. The Copper State Models 200HP Austro-Daimler will have to go back, as most of the spark plugs are snapped in half - but, curiously, masking tape has been applied to keep them together. Very odd.
20180412_202329 by dekenba1, on Flickr

This popped up on EBay, just as I bought the Revell kit. Couldn't not buy it.
20180412_202356 by dekenba1, on Flickr

Not in the box, these were bought from EBay & LSP. The Storch looks interesting, with PE and a Slovak markings. With Revell going under new ownership, I fully expect the new owners to ramp up prices. A lot. Seems like standard procedure these days. So I buy well priced 1/32 Revell kits, from the new batch - Ju88, He111, Bf109, Spitfire, Mustang, Me262, Ar196A, Fw190F & A, He219 - as I think they'll go up in price soon.

Pair of Taubes, because they are such beautiful, fragile things;
20180412_202813 by dekenba1, on Flickr

Some high quality Albrecht Durer water-paint pencils, for cockpit & prop painting. Never tried before, should be interesting. I've selected shades that I hope will work well together on the prop in particular. At around 1.50 a pencil, they should last for years & years;
20180412_215728 by dekenba1, on Flickr

And finally, a Trumpy 1/32 Hellcat for around 25? As I have only Hasegawa's old, wonkey Hellcat kit, I thought this was a decent investment.
