Thanks for the comment s ,

Today I got some of the metal work done on the final pieces . All that is left to do is the jeweling which I will do in a few day`s . I finished the painting of the wings and fuselage. I added some Tamiya smoke to show the staining as seen on some of the photo`s of the real Fokker EIII`s. The decals went on with no problems ,but on the wings I used a mix of water and white glue before placing the large decals .

@ Ernie I used the Product Bare Metal Foil .It has a tacky backing that makes it easy to apply .

@ Isitwindyyet I put the foil on the part first then I use the demal tool with a toothpick and a small disk of sand paper glued on the end. Before doing the jeweling on the finished product I practice on a foiled piece of plastic to get right size of the lines.

That`s all for now ,

                             Willi

Very sharp. Are you going to dull down/weather - just a bit- the metal work?

Hi Steve ,

I will do some weathering , with the camera flash it looks very bright. the wings still need some staining .

Thanks guy`s for your comments ,

It`s been a long while since I have looked at this kit . I have been waiting for the .04mm tubing to arrive from JBModel but no luck after e-mails . So now if anyone knows a company that sells micro tubing I can finish the Endecker and tripe I have been working on.

Well this is not WW1 but this showed up at my doorstep today .One of my Fav`s  little pricey but well worth it !

Thanks ,

             Willi

Good to hear from you. I hope you get that tubing soon as I am really looking forward to seeing your continued work on both projects!

Looks big, Willi.  Where's the top wing?

Hi Rick,

I have been doing some diving and snorkeling on the weekends . Also work on my reef aquariums that I let go because of my modeling . Everything is back in order so I can start work as soon as I get some tubing . I dropped the tripe and it suffered some damage . working late at night and sleepy is not good for modeling !

Hi Bud ,

If I guess right it`s about the size of a 1/48th Lancaster .  Sorry no top wing on this bird but it will be fun doing the camo on this A/C.
