Thanks Guy`s ,

I have decided to do Manfred Von Richthofen`s A/C. I am still waiting for parts to arrive in the mail so not to much progress has been done on the Model . I just painted and decaled the tail . I still not sure which turnbuckles to use .The R&B productions or GasPatch models ?

Thanks , Willi

Hi Willi,

great progress on your fokker. I am impressed by the look of the metal parts. The foil you've used is very convincing. I will also be interested on your progress on the cowlings. Is it possible to use the foil on those round /curved parts? The resine engine is a masterpiece and looks very realistic.

I think its time for a fokker group-build and especially because I am on the same stage in my build,  i will have a close look on your progress.

With kind regards,

Dirk

Willi,
How did you add the pattern/burls to the bare metal foil? Also, can you confirm which Taurus Engine Kit you used? Coming along beautifully BTW.
Cheers,
Lance

Hi Lance ,

I used a demel tool with a tooth pick and a small 1/16th inch disk glued to the end . I used kit #D3208.

  Thanks ,

Here`s the cowling done in bare Metal foil  (two pieces ). I dry fit and left the engine in the cowling so not to damage the engine :).

  Thanks ,Willi
