Breathtakingly beautiful, Prez!  This is, without a doubt, your best yet.  I love the scheme.  In fact, I love every aspect of this lovely bus.
Cheers,
Bud

HI Bud and PRez:

Bud:  I did a few of Koster vacs, mostly conversions, your Hannie really turned out well.

Prez:  Great job on this Polish Beauty!

Okay, here is mine:  I used the kit decals, I painted the fuselage using the Aurora Lozenge Templates from the '70's, blown up to 1/32nd scale and then over painted with the blue.  It has the effect.

I really liked this kit.  It went together well.  A few fit problems with the cowlings but I think had I had more patience it would have been better.

Enjoy

Mark

I remember when you built this one, Mark.  What a beauty she turned out to be.  I'm glad you posted her here.  You made me go to the WNW site to have another look at the kit.  Hmm.  My birthday's coming up.
BTW, are you still coming out to CA in February?
Cheers,
Bud

Des, Bud, Przemol  & Mark, I think the Hannover is a handsome looking
aeroplane and you fellows have brought out it's best.  Beautiful models!
Prze, the wire wheels are brilliant.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks Bud, Ernie, Patrick, Aroth all the comments are duly appreciated.  Yes, those Aurora Templates.  Not a bad idea for the time, this was before lozenge decals and it was a decent way of representing lozenge.

@Bud:  We are still planning on coming out in February.  SWMBO is still watching for the price of the tickets to drop, but; so far it is a go.  More info as it is forthcoming.

Mark, it is great that you dug out this thread with photos of your lovely finished Cl.II. It seems, that after the boom one year ago, triggered by the WNW surprise release, the build rate of this model dropped substantially. Pity, it is such an interesting aircraft, and the WNW kit itself is arguably their best - I do not remember ANY issues during the construction.
BTW, many thanks to you all for your kind comments on our models. I am glad you like mine, too. And I hope the judges during our Modelling Festival in Bytom in coming March will be equally impressed  ;)

It appears I've been remiss and omitted to post my Hannover here! Time to correct that:

It's the old Airfix 1:72 "baggie", corrected to the Datafile drawings. I scratchbuilt the interior and undercarriage, added a Miniworld Parabellum on a reworked Aeroclub gun ring, a spare Spandau from another kit, and a Choroszy resin engine. Decals are Aviattic, fuselage, wing centre section and lower tail are hand-painted.

Here's the full build log:  http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=487.0

It was a fun build, there's something about these early kits!

Ian
