Your interior looks awesome! Too bad about the Taurus parts. I know you will pull through with flying colors!

Nice interior work Pete, and the green fuel tank looks just right in the fuse structure. You used oils for the woodwork?

Hi Mike, yes I used oils for the woodwork, I use Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyd fast drying oil colours, they are just like ordinary oils but they dry over night so you don't have to wait for a week for them to dry.

Next update;
The wash on the inside of the cockpit hasn't come out that well, but most of it will be hidden anyway.
This is the engine after the Taurus mishap, having to use the Taurus valve springs, the rest is kit parts.
If all else fails, this will be the engine that I fall back on.
Cheers
Pete.

Not a bad looking fall back position, I'd say; pipe details look great

Hello, Pete -
I agree with Gregory - I don't think your interior wash looks bad either. Good luck on the rest of your build!

Nice progress. I think the interior is very good and will look good, as you say, when closed up. It cetainly achieves the right effect. Both motors look the part too.

Hello Pete:
I have to concur with the rest of the guys here, the wash does the trick. It highlights the interior details to good effect, both engines look the part as well. As Bo wrote, not a bad fall back position.
Looking forward to more progress.
Best

Hi Mark;
Thanks for the comments, I have some of the Taurus spark plugs, just trying to work out a way to do the wires and connectors.
Cheers

Thanks guys,
Kevin, the engine is the one that comes with the kit, I just bought some Taurus parts to enhance it, unfortunately they didn't work out too well.
Cheers
Pete.
