Hello Pete:

The wood is stunning!  This is really coming together nicely and I look forward to seeing you progress.  Thanks for sharing your technique as well.  I have this kit and will give your technique a go.

Looking good Pete - glad to see you seem to have overcome the problems you encountered earlier on.

Sorry guys, but I missed out a step in my method for doing the wood on the fusilage, after putting the streaks on and brushing them in, I left the fusilage to dry overnight before putting the dots on and rubbing them in.

Cheers

Oh boy, just finished a marathon decalling session with the Wood and Wire decals, are they fragile, you bet they are and it doesn't seem to matter what you do to them either, however I have managed to get the bottom wing finished at long last, so I hope I can progress ok from here.

Cheers

Pete.

Sorry about the lack of updates guys, but at the moment I'm having a little time away from modelling, things at home, which I have mentioned earlier are no better, in fact if anything, they are getting worse, but no doubt I will return in the not too distant future to bore you all with my models.

Cheers

Pete.

I think you are doing a super job on the Roland, Pete, despite
engine and other problems.  Your wood effects are nothing short
of spectacular.  Wishing you the best.

Cheers,
Ernie

Take your time Pete - but remember to take YOUR time. You deserve to get to a personal sanctuary too.
