Wow!! Suddenly a Pfalz. Great work and like everyone - love that scheme!! I had completely forgotten about poly scale. Some are asking $22 a bottle on ebay - crazy!!! Paint collectors??!!

Both of your builds here are shaoping up nicely, Rick. The Silver-Grey on your Pfalz is spot on. A tough colour to get, and you've nailed it.
Cheers,
Gary

Thanks Steve. I still have about 20 bottles of Polyscale and as Many of Floquil/ Aeromaster. Maybe I can trade them for a WNW kit  ::)

Thanks Gary. I had a Tin of Xtra color Silbergrau gloss enamel I would have loved to use but didn't have a thinner that agreed with it. If anyone knows what commercial thinner works such as "Mineral Spirits" let me know as I have other colors I might use in the future.

A small update on the Pfalz. I have added the prop. spinner and gear. I also have started a bit of the weathering ( light oil washes so far on one side. Lots More to do.

I can see the subtle weathering on the port side. Nice!! Shows where the pilot enters and exits.

It’s with airplanes like it is with children: it’s amazing when they stand on their own legs :)
Great job!

You have built two amazing looking aircraft Rick. I certainly like both the colour schemes you have chosen, but I must say that the Pfalz is my favorite!

Thanks Steve. Yes that is one place I have done just a "Tad" of weathering. I also did a bit around the access hatches.

That is very true Andreas! I hope to get the Albatros to the same point today!

Thanks Willem. Right now I too favor the Pfalz. We shall see how it goes from here  ::)

These arrived from Poland today:

Thanks Buzby/ Artur. Funny thing here is that My Amigo Ed mailed some Roden crosses on the same Day from inside the US....and they haven't made it yet  ::)

Both of your birds are looking excellent, Rick.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that no 'incidents' happen.

Nice work - you have a factory going!! You've inspired me to pick up on my WNW Pup I started long ago. I love your energy and output of great models and want to REALLY take part in this forum. Thanks for the kick in the pants!!

I agree with Ken: both models look first class - and I am not writing more so as not to encourage any gremlins!

Beautimous Rick!  Love your Silbergrau and I do love that series of books. I'll have to get your mix for that yellow one day.
