Thank you!

Today I have reached my limits. Installing of 6 control cables and two from throttle strained my weakening eyesight and more and more clumsy hands beyond anything I could expect. Well, they are mounted but it was a 2 hours horror and the nature of Uschi material did not help, either. After that adding the resin firewall from Ed Brassin engine set was a breeze. Enough for today...

If I look at you pictures quickly I would say you are doing a WNW again here!
Great modeling!
Take some hours break, have a good sleep and continue!

Cheers,
Frank

Gorgeous, hard to believe that's 1/72!!

Having done 2 of the 1/72 Roden D.VII this one looks much, much better, even out of the box. I like those 1/72 Roden kits, but the D.VIIs definately aren't among the best of them.

As stated above - it's very difficult to believe that this is done in 1/72 scale! Such neat work!

Thank you for the kind words.

In recent days I worked on further details. Spandaus are a mix of kit parts, Part and EdZoom.
Mercedes is of course Ed Brassin with water pipe and timing gear transmission column from soldering wire.
The radiator which is a modified kit element (one of many) will have the interior grill from EdZoom and a filling pipe with cover from scratch. Also the air pump at the engine forehead will be added.
All nicely fits after just a slight trimming at the opening for the prop shaft. Ready for colouring!

Stunningly wonderful!

Prze, how do you get such a clean roll on the p/e Spandau jackets?  I still struggle with this.
