Engine and radiator installed.

And some fun with Part PE spoked wheels...

I have complete faith in you Prze, and I'm eager to see the results. I'm still amazed this is all in 1/72.

Engine and radiator look Fantastic Przemo. I tried PE spokes a long time ago on a 1/48th build and totally failed. Your tiny 1/72nd wheels are superb.

Thank you, yet once more.

For the start of this report I would like to praise Eduard customer service. While checking the further elements I was shocked to realize that on my copy of this kit the triple struts supporting the centreplane are absent. Not moulded it seems. I have no idea how I missed this fault! Anyway, I have contacted Eduard and got an immediate answer that the replacement will be sent to me within a couple of days. Should be here on time when I will really need them. ;)

On the other hand the fuselage is being prepared for painting and decalling. The metal side panels from Part PE are mounted. As planned the louvres and covers from the oversize front ones were cut off and glued to the kit sides. The rear triangles were spot-on in size and shape so it was an easier bit. At the front the radiator-chin joint required some treatment with filler and sandpaper.
And also the undercarriage assembly is ready with seams filled and the wheels knobs lengthened to pretend they are axes reaching the outer spoke hubs.

I've not had any dealings with Eduard's spare parts division so I'm glad to hear your unexpected issue is being resolved so promptly.

The PE panels and Louvers are awesome !

Thank you.

Lozenge under construction. What I feared to be problematic is actually progressing quite fine, I deem.  ;)

Wow! that is great progress, Przemo! I do love the PE details around the cowling, and it is great to start on the lozenge! I'm not familiar with the Wood & Wire brand for the lozenge, how does it work and is it available? Regards, Marc
