It looks like all your investment in the shrinkray project are beginning to pay off, Stuart - you and your engineering team are doing great work with the rigging!

Hang on...you didn't shrink yourself and a team to do this, did you?  :o

Steady progress Stuart - this one is not an easy rig as I remember. However you are certainly producing an excellent model here.

That are a lot of rigging lines in the inner bays :o
In 1/72 is not much space to work freely there, but you and your spiders managed it!

Cheers,

Impressive rigging
A model thrives on its overall impression and not on that every little disagreement over the original is hyped up as a disaster

Thanks for all the motivation gang!

The rigging of the wings took a lot longer than I thought it would.  Whew!  I've never done so much rigging.  The tail boom is now attached.  It's starting to look somewhat like a Voisin.  I'll do all the touch ups, paint the pulleys and aileron struts, clean up the tail boom, and then begin rigging the back end next.

Wow Stuart, that is a massive amount of rigging! I thought the DH2 was challenging but this one makes the DH look simple....and in 1/72nd no less  8)

Those photos give no indication of the trials and tribulations you've endured to reach this point Stuart, she looks magnificent!

Yep the Voisin did have a few spare wires.....

You are going greta guns with this one Stuart - showing it who is boss. The tail will also have a few spare wires but you will be able to get them fixed in de course.

Stuart, you continue to inspire by soldiering on as you have with this. You're a better man than me.

I did all the interplane rigging done, attached the tail boom, and rigged it.  Taking it all in, I decided the next step was to repaint it.  Yup, I didn't like the color. Originally I didn't want to do a bleach white and tried Ivory.  Now, after getting most of it together, it just didn't look right.  A repaint in off white over the ivory give it a warm white color but not as yellow as the Ivory which is exactly what I was going for.  I now have to reattach broken lines and clean all of them up.  I'm really enjoying getting this one completed.
