Three very nice builds there Rick! Beautiful painting on all of them and adding the markings definitely adds something to how the model looks/is perceived - there is a sense of completeness once they are in place.

Great work over all!

Your pictures are very helpful to me for my current build, specifically, how much of the engine is showing.  I had a lot of trouble with the ignition wires at the magnetos and I completely messed that up.  I see from your build that they won't be showing.

I think the wing crosses do pull everything together.  Before they were added, it appeared the wings were from another airplane.  You must be close to finishing this one?

Thanks Fredrik! Once I apply the markings I get the final ideas for weathering and finishing / Tying it all together.

Thanks Ken. Like I said above, weathering and tying it all together is the final step....or so I hope  8) As for the leads only the front two show if you really look closely at your model once closed up!

Catching up Rick. The Albatros look excellent but the DH 2 clearly is the winner by a long way, even though it is not finished yet. Cannot think why though...!

Thanks Stephen. The DH2 is being worked on. I just am taking things slowly as it is perhaps the most challenging rigging I have ever attempted  ;D

Today I attached the basic tail surfaces to the DH2. Again weathering should pull all of the odd colors on the wings together...or at least that is the plan  ::)

By the way, I have an issue that is totally self created. I seem to Not Be Able to align two part roundel decals even though I think I have the markers  aligned. I am not overly concerned on this one as ailerons were often switched out so I am saying that is the case on this one  8)

Just beautiful, Rick! She looks fantastic! I'd like to volunteer to start her - I've always thought propping a DH.2 looked fun...

Looks as though the most difficult part of the assembly is now finished Rick. The rigging will be easier than you think if you tackle it systematically and slowly.

The roundels are not a problem for the reason that you have given!

Thanks Zac, I think it will look better once I blend in some oils.

Thanks as always Stephen. I have only ONE FEAR with the remaining rigging:

Looks great! You'll get the remaining rigging in place as well, I'm sure!

Hi Rick,

I had the same fear. In the end I didn't use that PE parts and made a movable substitute from gaspatch turnbuckles.

Maybe that would be a solution for you, too.

Best Regards
