Just getting caught up on your progress Rick , really liking the Allbie so far , she looks fantastic ! DH-2 is coming along wonderfully as well . It's good encouragement to bring my build back up on the bench . Fastastic stuff Rick !Alexis
Sorry Rick, I missed your most recent update. Good to see the important model is in the rigging stage - I am certain that you will rectify the problem quickly and that this will turn into another of your gems.Stephen.
Hi RAGIII,just saw this thread after beeing a while absent. That's a very impressive "group build" in this thread!I can feel your pain with damaging old lines while adding a new ones. I did the build it in different order, the control lines I added last and used elastic thread for it. That went... OK. This model is really challenging. All thumbs up, it looks very nice so far Best regardsRafael
Steller progress, Rick! I know this is never easy, but your rigging is neat and looks so convincing! Just a lovely build in every way! Regards, Marc.
Fantastic results so far Rick , really love the prop by the way ! Alexis
Rigging is certainly a challange on the DH2, Rick -Even with rigging diagrams it takes a while to work out where the lines all run. Good to see that you are tackling this and now have some good progress!RegardsDave
A mass of wires for sure! It will look great after you work your magic on it.
Hi RAGIII,regarding the rigging: There is a guide available, you can find it here: http://www.aeroretro.com/dh2-scale-model-rigging-guide.htmlI have also a pdf version, but can't attach it because of the file size.I found it quite helpful just for understanding what's going on. Maybe it helps you too Best RegardsRafael
Wow, Rick, that looks fantastic! The rigging is superb and that prop looks good enough to swing!
