Thanks, Rick.

Sockets for the cabanes had to be trimmed.
Dryfitting looks promising 🙂

Looking great! I am amazed by the amount of work you need to put into these kits. Certainly above My skill level!

Getting there, the cabanes look good. That's a major step taken care of. :)

This promises to be another great build.  The washes on the fuselage really bring out the detail.

Thank you.

And the last stage before assembly - the hinged turnbuckles mounted for control lines, interplane rigging and floats. Now it should go quickly 😉

Beautiful work Prez, I like the hinged turnbuckles. That's a great way to ensure the rigging runs in a straight line with them. Looking forward to seeing this in its final glory!

Thanks, Richie.

Assembly has started! The last piece of geometry adjustments looked too complicated on paper, so I decided to adjust the length of the outer floats struts in-situ. Due to my modifications the front ones had to be longer so I trimmed two left-over interplane struts. The rear ones had to be shorter so I just corrected the kit ones. Now for the rigging, necessary to reinforce the assembly and give me more confidence as the floats are very heavy and everytime I hold the fuselage I fear they will just fall down.
Also the tail assembly is approaching the finale.

You are very much right, Gary. It is my favourite stage of any build, assembly and rigging!

The beaching gear tested, all fits well.

And here are templates to cut the masks for airbrushing the propeller layers and brass fittings.

And I have to decide if I add the Parabellum to the observer cockpit. The only photo of "Polish 9" shows it unarmed but then it looks so sad. Hard decision...
