Yes the rigging is from 0.12mm fishing line painted dark aluminium which makes for a fine steel look imho.

Solving puzzles continues. I have just realized that the radiator was leaned back, not vertical. So I made some surgery to the kit part to make it look as parallelogram not a rectangle in the side view. I have also managed to do some dryfitting of the upper wing and it resulted in the need to modify further the cabanes, together with new longer supports for the modified radiator. Almost certainly the water pipes will have to be adjusted, too, but this only after the radiator is mounted for good.
And yes, my Polish FF33L will have Parabellum gun. I preferred to use some spares from WNW, Lukgraph supports and a piece of wire. Now to the paint workshop with these...

Looking terrific! I must say that I am glad you and Kent are superb Modelers as it seems a beginner with resin kits would be in trouble with this one. I am interested in the Albatros CIII but will have to wait to see how that one is to build

You are far too kind , Rick.
Also, this kit is reportedly buildable without a fuss. All the problems I am solving are only because I decided to modify some details...

Anyway, the upper wing is now on.
First, the inner interplane struts were glued to the lower wing using the upper one as template for geometry control. It was possible thanks to the added wire pins on the cabane struts assemblies.

When the glue set I removed the upper wing, added the windscreen

And the rigging lines for the inner bays. With this I could finally attach the upper wing

Well, just before this I could tentatively correct the water pipes. It seems that the front one is alright but the rear one has to be substantially lengthened.

Now for the rigging and to squeeze in the outer struts.

This is really a big beast Przemo, about 50 cm span or so?

That's a very smart way to be sure the the wings and and strut locaters are aligned. It is looking magnificent! The detailing and the weathering are great.

It looks like this is a complicated rigging job.

The original was 13.2m so in this scale it is 41.25cm - the kit has indeed this dimension.

BTW, DH9a or FE2b are even bigger.

As for the rigging, not too complex I deem, no double lines, no rigging in the cabane section. A mere 24 lines in the wing cellule plis 4 controls to ailerons. And half of it is already done
