Got the seat support installed and the ammo bin which was made out of scraps of card . Not the greatest but most of it will not be seen and it fits ! Some of the smaller items are painted and pretty much ready to go . The seat belts are recycled from a trashed Pfalz D.IIIa build . I still have have the control column to make which I will work on next . Wood parts have their base coat on and set for the grain effect and clear coating . Couple small details need to be work out ,but I'm actually enjoying this so far  :) Few more days I should have the cockpit finished up .

Awesome!  I am doubly interested in this build as I have just won an eBay auction of the kit yesterday! It is the second boxing ( green plane) and it comes with decals for Paul Baumer! Now I can do Baumer’s plane!

If only Wingnuts could have done one in 1/32.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks Rick and Brian  :)

Cool , good for you Brian , hope that you got it for a fair price for being a very , very hard kit to find . I would love to see this in 32 scale even a new tooled 48 scale would be a warm welcome .

Bit more progress on this little bugger . Start making up the control column and still have a few more details to add and while doing a bit of clean up I found a PE seat back which works better then the resin one from the parts bins . Just have to cut a new base for it . Little bigger then what I'm using now , but smaller then an Albatros seat . So this made my day ! I can almost start laying done some colours once the column is finished .

I started off finishing the control column . A few cables for the guns will get added once it is fixed in place for good . Since I had the airbrush out I made a start on the paint as well . Ammo bin and the power planet got bathed in black and while I was at it . The seat and side panels have the first step for wood effects . Still need to make a cushion  ::)

For the inside of the fuselage I made my own mix for the pale blue grey . For this I used Tamiya J.N. Grey with Tamiya light blue . Not sure on the ratios though , just kept adding the blue until I was happy .
