And the rigging begins , awesome !

Do you find it easier to paint the cockpit coming after the top wing is in place ? Man I would be getting paint every where except for the combing !

This morning I started tightening wires. It is going fairly well but I have stopped for the day to watch Football

As for the coaming it is easy to reach even with the wing mounted....Or so I Hope

So after the first half of the Game I went into the model room and secured and tightened the rigging. All went well other than some obvious touch up needed on the paint. Next attaching the gear and radiator piping.

Thanks Terri. I think it will look better once the lines are painted and I add some "Smoke and Mirrors" turnbuckles

Today I painted the rigging wires and added the gear legs/tail skid to the Pfalz.

Having just looked at your Fokker builds and now these, I am still amazed at how quickly you are able to build such high quality moddels. This Pfalz is certainly one of your best models - that sliver grey finish is truly amazing.

Thanks Stephen. I haven't done much on this one since posting other than adding the wheels. I have worked a little on the Nieuport so perhaps another update sooon.

I have done a small amount of work on the Nieuport. I finished applying the roundels, worked a little more on the engine, and cut away the cowling per the original aircraft. I did screw up on the cowling. I butchered the correct cowling and found I did not have another in My spares. So I used one with the joints on the sides modified it to the ones on the top, and cut away the bottom. Not perfect but it will work
