Gary , yes I do wear mask when sanding resin and some times when scraping depending on the type of resin . Some is very hard while other is more like a bar of soap . In that case I when a mask .

Rick , it is still going to while before this one is button up , still lots and lots to do , but I'm getting there . With more rain in our forecast for the weekend it looks like I will be getting a bit more time at the bench .

Work continues at a slow pace or it may seem , but this was a few hours well spent . I made a new floor for the old one was now to small . I re-installed the carb air intakes and now I know why my measurements were way off so may years ago . ( I had them installed the wrong way  ) . The strap on the furl and oil tank is fashioned out of left off PE seat belt buckle and tamiya tape . I also made another ammo bin . Rudder bar is a Toms Model Works from their German PE set . I added a nut with a pin making it easier to mount later on . I did build up the surface with super glue a bit so it doesn't look so flat . A bit of primer will tell me if I need more . Rest of the framing is added to the left side . And this is where I'm at now . Still a fair bit of details left , control column , rest of the instruments and other details , but the frame is getting close to painting . I also had a little help on keeping my chair warm

Apologies for absence Terri - I have been away from home again and am still trying to catch up with things (including my own project!) The frame and addition which you have made are strikingly good - with the new engine which you are proposing to put in this should be another of your winners.

Love the ammo box with its strap. That's a properly grumpy looking cat. I had a Siamese who looked really fierce but was the most placid cat ever. I still miss him 20 years later.

Stephen , it is what is and no reason to apologies .  Follow when you can . So far the build is going well and once the pit is finished the rest should good a little quicker .

Richie , the ammo box doesn't have a strap . Those are the fuel and oil tank . Yeah he his grumpy . I poked him for the photo op , waking him from his nap .

Bit more progress , new tail feathers have been cut and sanded to shape so far . And that is all for this weekend .
