I keep getting triple vision when I look in on your thread Rick. I agrre with Frank - if I were to do what you are doing I would be in such a muddle I would give up! I have managed to muddle some wing ribs on my current build as it is, and I am making one model!!

Yours are progressing well though - keep it up!

Stephen.

You think you have Triple Vision, you should see things from My perspective  :o Thanks, for the comment and I have begun to do a little improvement on the struts. I learned quicklly that even being VERY CAREFUL the best method is to leave the H on the sprue and work from there! I have used "SUper Filla" , Superglue and talcom powder, to change the H strut profile. Working pretty well. I will post photos soon. As for the original trial strut that I cut loose, I broke it in about 4 places even trying to be super careful. I can only hope My repairs work!

Very nice, the parts weren't too bad, but refining them will do wonders for the overall impression of the finished models. Tedious time well spent.

There is something fundamentally amiss with a society which forces it's modelers to work for a living.

Thanks SP. I wish I had thought of taking a before photo. The ones on the sprue have been refined also so only those who have the kit will see a difference  :o

I had the kit, but traded it off a while back. I noticed the difference.

The last couple of bench sessions have been dealing with the early wing tip conversion. More difficult than I had thought it would be...Probably My own Fault! That being said I think I am almost there. Some final shaping and filling /sanding still to do!

Might have been difficult but they look so good Rick! Time well spent I'd say.
