Thanks gentlemen, you're all very kind.

I started with the observer's Parabellum, but the bombs set from Mirage arrived, so I switched to the bomb rack.
Parabellum is the absolute last thing that will go on anyway.

These 12,5 kg bombs are just 15 mm long.
I'll make the bomb rack from 0,3mm brass tube, cut up Airscale cockpit bezels and Evergreen.

The Parabellum is a real pièce de résistance...Eduard at it's best.

And all the sudden....finished, done, ready.

Four weeks of pure pleasure!
I think this kit is a gem. A very accurate C.IIa (late), with the (hidden) option to build a final production version.
I'll post more photo's in the Completed models section.

Fredrik... very few hurdles, some more mistakes, a dash of sloppiness and outright stupidity, a couple of details I didn't notice until it was too late to add them.
The kit is not to blame.

Proud of the interior, the prop painting and masking the "white 6".
Pleased about building the "final" version. It makes it a unique C.IIa...I think. Fairly happy with the rigging...I get the hang of it and that's a win.

I could have done a better job, mainly on the underside. I simply didn't investigate that very well.
Most annoying...the missing pairs of drainage holes. Only noticed those a couple of days ago, but I didn't dare to start drilling holes into a 99% finished model. $:-\$

Overall...happy with the result.
