What the others Hve said - simple fantastic. You seem to be dealing with the various problems in a very deliberate and systematic way - I bet that nobody will be able to see them when this is finished.

Spectacular so far Prze. What paint (the grey/ green) did you use for the exterior surfaces, and did you pre-shade the rib detail or post shade with airbrushed highlights? The results are really top notch work! 8)

Thank you, I am glad you like my efforts.

Lance, for Feldgrau I used WW2 RLM02 from Pactra acrylic range. Shading is actually postshading with custom made thin smoke, a mix of much Clear and little Black, also acrylics. Gotha has no rib tapes on the wings, just stitching, so I used the thinnest available Aizu tape 0.4mm but the effect is barely visible, what you see better is the contrast between inter-rib bands and ribs themselves.

Thanks for the information Prze; both the fuselage shading and the subtle outlining of the rib contrast are really well done. Very nice effect!
Cheers,
Lance

I have just got the brand-new veneers to build Reschke propellers for my Gotha.

And the work is already started with gluing the layers together and soaking them with liquid CA glue. After the fitting it turned out that 7 layers will be enough and BTW it is exactly how many are seen in one of the photos of Feodora in WD (three bright and four dark ones)

I am looking forward to seeing the props carved and finished. The laminations look like a great starting point!

I'm looking forward to seeing how the propellers turn out and then I might become a buyer of these. Guesing that one of the wood types is walnut? The other?

The rest of your work is, of course, amazing as always.

Cheers
