Today i fixed first (here and in my life) handles for rigging. I needed some time for selecting right materials and practice. Here's the result, I hope it will hold out the rigging process...

Fine progress. As for the strength of rigging fittings I test every single one before assembly for pull out. Pass a piece of fishing line, hold the ends and try to pull it out. If it holds then it will also stand the rigging. 😉

Looks like a strong bond to work with!

The fittings should give you a nice solid anchor!

No progress. I've ordered lines for rigging from Ushi store almost two weeks ago. I received mail with confirmation. And from that day silence. I sent two mails with no answer. Had anyone of You similar problems? Should I wait? (BTW what else can I do?).

Those anchor points should be plenty strong enough. They look very tidy too.

I'd like to refresh this forgotten topic.
After two months of waiting for rigging lines (during this time I began to construct another Albatros) the work could be continued. The hardest task was fixing the upper wing with rest of the model, I had to use force and quick drying glue... Comparing to this, the rigging seemed to be rather easy. It is not perfect - next time I will choose different method for gluing the line. A few actual pictures:

My thoughts exactly! Just amazing, especially the wing translucency.
Cheers,

That’s really a great one! I can’t see any flaws on your rigging.

Thank You all.
Recently birdie got its wheels, waiting for propeller and some final touches.
Before the Hall of Fame I am going to make a small vignette to avoid placing it on the bare, cold cardboard.

This looks incredible now that it is on it's wheels. The view now really shows off the translucent wing effects to perfection! Beautiful work!!
