It looks like you will add two birds in PC10 to your collection soon. Do not mix it with SPAD parts! ;)

This white tapes for curves works great, but I had some trouble ones after I had it on for to long time.

Cheers,
Frank

That looks fabulous Rick!  This is going to be a beautiful completed model.  Keep going!

Best regards,

Bob

Thanks Bob!
RAGIII

Oh yeah.  Are those the kit decals?

Bob

Yes, These are the Encore kit decals. They are quite nicely done.
RAGIII

great paint job and the decals have really brought it to life, what's not to love  :D

Thanks for the positive feedback!
RAGIII

Great progress, Rick. The strippers did a good job.

An SE5a may just show up on my to do list.

Thanks Ken. I would love to see you do an SE!
RAGIII

I love how that 4 blade really changes the look of the nose !

Alexis

If not the prop that large spinner certainly changes the look!
RAGIII

Certainly looking good Rick. Fingers crossed that this one make it intact to the finish line.

Stephen.

Thanks Stephen. A little weathering then the moment of Truth  ::)

Lets hope so Frank ! The Tamiya Tape can be tricky on certain paints. I have learned to Never use it over Valejo. Tamiya paints seem to hold up well. I always lift it off as soon as possible!

Hi Rick Thats a great heads up about Tamiya tape and Valejo. I quite like Valejo’s PC12 and it's satin effect. I find Tamiya great but prefer Velejo with the brush as I'm a bit impatient putting on layers Following with interest another awesome build :) Daz

Thanks! I have added the landing gear and am ready to start adding the wing struts:

Also I must say I suck at using Acrylics for figures. No matter ow I tried the mixes kept coming up green for the uniform. I will re do with oils!

That is looking magnificent Rick. Is it green? Is it brown? No, it's a perfect PC10!  :)

Seriously though, these photos really show how effective your paint mix is, it very much looks the part.

Well, it was really close. If I had stopped at a certain point it might still be a project. But I kept pushing on and things got progressively worse...until this!

I thought about making a comment about you taking realism too far with McCudden's engine cutting out on take off and he trying to turn back rather than glide straight, but then realised I shouldn't. Oh hell, I just have.
Seriously though, mate, it's too near completion to give up. Put it in a box, have a beer, do something else for a couple of days, then come back to it forensically and calmly sort it out.
It has been progressing fantastically and there's so much good work in there, it'd be a crying shame not to see it rise again.

Ohh Rick...

I'm so sorry to see this happen.

Yet, you are known to perform miracles in the event of of mishap. I am sure you will be able to fix it and turn out a beautiful model!

NOOoooooo!!!!! Oh Rick, it was looking fantastic and was so nearly there! I agree with with what has been said about repairs being possible. Especially Sandy's suggestion of a few cold beers before coming back to it refreshed. Then again, it's all about fun and maybe you've had all you need from this one. Don't bin it though, you might come back to it one day.

Put some bullet holes in it and call it a crashed SE5.   ;D

I feel your pain, mate - is it repairable?
