Thanks!

And, yes, go and grab one of these while they are still there. I would do it if it was not the third DH.9/9a in my collection.

And this one finally got the name together with the last remaining markings.

And 100 self made eyelets for the rigging. Should be enough even with a small provision for the insatiable carpet monster  ;)

I feel as if it took me ages to complete but finally the paint work, shading and wash are done. And the final assembly could begin!

That is all looking very lovely! I really like the subtlety of your shading/weathering, you are really bringing the parts to life without overdoing it. Beautiful work.

Thank you...

Brad, do not exaggerate. Your modelling is one of my inspirations.

Today's progress - the undercarriage complete, the tail surfaces rigged, all those lovely details under the centre upper wing are being added.

Some more details added before it will become a biplane - fuel lines, cabane struts and rigging lines and the rigging in the wing root opening.

Thank you for these kind words, gentlemen

Here is more steps - inner interplane struts were attqched, then the upper wing jumped on. The wing cellule requires a couple of props (two paint jars and the bottle of paint thinner  ;) ). When the glue is set I will squeeze the outer struts and then will remove the props hoping that the geometry will be preserved. If not, then there is still a chance to correct it by the structural monofilament rigging  ;D
