Great to see this one back underway Rick, are the strippers decal strips or styrene? They're going to give a beautiful effect under the pc10. I love the business like lines of the SE5a, it's definitely not graceful like a Pup or a Nieuport but i find there's something very handsome about it.

Richie

Richie,
The rib tapes are paint. I used the strips from Bobs Buckles to mask and paint.

Thanks Alexis. Here is the SE after a thin coat of PC 10.

Only just seen that this one is back on the move Rick. The ribs look very realistic, as does your shade of PC 10. Looks like another of your masterful models will be completed before too long - this time successfully I hope!

This is progressing very nicely. I'm following each instalment as a guide for a future attempt on this kit too. So many kits to make, so little time! As always I'm impressed by your sheer modelling throughput!

Thanks Sandy. I hope I don't let you down  :o

More progress. Undersides of wing and tail plane painted CDL using Tamiya Buff/white mix. I used Tamiya Tape for curves and Bobs strippers to do the PC 10 outline/border. A clear coat to seal it then started on the decals.

Great progress, Rick. The strippers did a good job.

An SE5a may just show up on my to do list.

Certainly looking good Rick. Fingers crossed that this one make it intact to the finish line.
