The Alby is really looking the business now, Rick.  Super job on the lozenge.
This is shaping up to be a stunner, my friend.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks Ernie! As always your comments are greatly appreciated! The Aviattic Lozenge is super, and with just a bit of subtle preshading at the ribs looks even better! I can't say enough about the product!!

You have so many fabulous Albatrosen in you collection, Rick, it's had to say which is your best.  However, this one looks like it's shaping up to be your best yet.  I love the chevroned fuselage band and the lozenge looks stunning.  Brilliant work, Amigo.
Cheers,
Bud

Bud, Thank you for the very kind comments! I do love the Albatros! We shall see where this one ranks in the end as I still have time to blunder  ::)

Hi Rick,

You did a magnificent job on all the aspects of the build. Wonderful lozenge, great decalling and I still like the woodpainting so much. Well done my friend!

Kind regards

Ed, Very nice to hear from you again! I was beginning to worry. Guess you are just busy building for the NATS! Thanks for your compliment!! As an aside here, I did a little thing on Streaking in the Hints and Tips section. If you have any Photos I would Love to add your Method of Fokker Streaking to the tutorial? Of course I will help with pics as needed!

Ok Folks. A verbal update to be followed with pictures later. I have officially Mucked up! I broke one of the gear struts. It was a clean brake and glued together well but.... I now REALLY have to wonder about the Long Term Strength! We need a Drop in Metal replacement that differs enough that WNW won't object. Are you listening Richard? Bos fix is outstanding but my Humble opinion is that unless you are experienced at soldering and scratch building the use of his PE  and struts would be more than a challenge!
So for now the DVa will sit level on it's gear. We shall see what time does to the assembly.

By the way the CDL patches will be touched up with oils to match the wood grain...Hopefully  8)
