one of the many walkarounds I found, just to get you in the mood...
anybody any idea on how to reproduce these colours by the way? love to do one of these, but painting that finish looks very hard to get right...

Great choice with many decal options that are quite pleasing.

Thinking well in advance, just popped into Hannant's this morning and bought the Windsock DF on said Halberstadt  :)

The profile posted by Lorenzo features in the frontispiece along with six others by Ronny bar. I would imagine the kit will contain others perhaps.

A really excellent small book packed with lots of period pics, colour pics of present examples and super drawings - great value for the outlay. No connection - just a happy customer. There were only two left on the shelf but I'm sure they will be available ongoing given the new subject matter.

Regards - Tug

I think this is a really Great Release! Nice lines and varied paint schemes I will most likely buy one. That being said here is my 2 seater record.
Purchased:
LVG CVI: Traded for a Roden Lafayette SPAD VII
Rumpler : Sold.
Bristol F2b: Sold
Salmson 2A2 USAS: BUILT  ;D
So, a 1 in 4 chance I will actually build it  :o

Great choice!  Definitely getting this one.  Lots of cool markings and armament loads has the makings for a great
centerpiece for a diorama.

This is one I will buy, but I am still hoping for an AH subject since WNW has yet to do any. Maybe for a Christmas surprise?

Another one on the pile.
German stuff sells so it will be a good steady seller.
I dunno though , I feel a little 'left out' as neither of the last two offerings are 'buy it right now ' for me.
I know I dont hafta rush out and buy it either as it will most likely be available for a few years.
Still , good for WNW!

It's not in the top 3 of my Wish List however it's a Kit I will definitely buy and Build, the schemes are endless! If nothing else this announcement proves that the folks at Wingnut Wings are unpredictable when it comes to subjects. There appears to be no theme, rather variety and the occasional less then iconic subject keep us all in a state of near frenzied suspense. I must have checked the Forum a hundred times yesterday before the news finally broke.
I do agree that some French and A-H Aircraft would be a welcome complement to the inventory, that should hopefully follow soon I hope however there's still plenty of subjects in the "heavy hitter" category available such as the BE.2 and the Strutter to name only a few.
Bottom line for this happy modeller; another great release and another reminder that, in my chosen scale, we've got it pretty good! :)
Cheers,
Lance

Oh yeah, I'll throw in a three cheers for WNW..outstanding choice....a must have...a prestigious aircraft... I too love it's lines.  WNW once again breaks the mold (nopunintended)....I know of only one kit ever produced...the Aurora 1/48 that I built as a kid.

Hi Doug, Mirage Hobby also produced a couple of boxings if I remember correctly.

I'm as pleased with this release as I would've been with a BE or a Strutter!  My favorite German 2-seater and so many wonderful schemes and markings options.  I hope Brunhilde is one of them, then I could have Brunhilde Jr. and Brunhilde Sr..

Cheers,
Bud
