(romain Hugault drawing)

The Morane Saulnier type AI ( militaire name MoS29 et MoS30) will cloce my Navarre plane theme, but other wise fit well in an another thematic: the Morane Saulnier parasol planes

I have three of them :

 type L

 MS 225

 MS230

A fourth one will be welcome! !

It will be to the ocasion to work for first time with war end french 5 color camouflage.

Beautiful collection Xan, it's a pleasure to scroll through your Navarre chronicle here, each model is a gem on it's own! The A1 will be a fitting conclusion to your story. Great work!!
Cheers,
Lance

Great project – although it was a little bit foreseeable, don't you agree?  ;)
I will follow that closely! Did I understand you properly and you are planning to build a whole series of Morane parasol planes? I am eagerly thinking about doing a Morane Saulnier P one day, if any usable information on the interior and well drawn plans should come to light...
Best regards

Ah, that type L was yours (found it somewhere in the internet) it is so great!
Good luck with you new Morane! I have also the Hugault comic and the SH kit, but this has a very low priority in my bigger stash for a simple reason: I want to build in a Gnome N, and this typ is (not yet?) available from Small Stuff. So I have enough Small Stuff engines of available types and enough matching kits to build before.

Cheers,
Frank

Looking forward to this, as the AI is one of my all time favorites! I was very happy with how mine came out, not too many pitfalls for me to stumble through. Good luck with it!

Frank, have you tried any Copper State resin engines? They have a Gnome 9n and it goes together very nicely.

Thank you for the hint to CSM, I was aware of this engine. This will be my fallback solution. Anyway, there are many kits on my prio list before  ;)

Cheers,

I did the cockpit in a quite simple way.

There in green what is represented and in red what is not , but I did not want to pass a lot of time there....

and well, it is an special hobby model....
cockpit didn't feet, and I had to sand a lot, but at last i closed it

next operation the fuselage had not the right form.
I have not vocabulary enough to explain it in english, but I hope the pics will speak by themself....

I put a lot of surfacer and after a long while I sanded it:

then surfacer again with airbrush and this is the result:

a pic before/after shows the result:

quite closer to the reality IMO

I have now to do the front part , and there is work to be done too....

Beautiful work, Xan!  Your modifications make the fuselage stringers look so much more realistic.
