Is the $79 price tag pleasantly low in anyone elses opinion? I would have figured it would be in the $119 ran
Steve

It's a single engine scout plane.  Other than the Fokker D.VII, those have all have fallen in the $79.00 range, especially the British aircraft.

.....and the Roland DVI and the Roland CI/II and the Pfalz DXII and numerous other two bay British types. I was thinking more in the amount of kit as opposed to theme. ]

It is the decals that make the difference. Those German single seaters that have higher price tags have more decal sheets. The base price is $79 USD, with multiple decal sheets driving the price up. Note the Fokker E types are not as highly priced; less decals.  The Roland CII is not a single seater.

Why is it that $79 price tag for the sopwith snipe seems too cheap to this guy? Obviously it's a single seater, less plastic sprues,  that quote is out of place, no everybody might even afford paying that!!
ok never mind................

I won a twenty quid Hannants voucher at my clubs Xmas raffle last night - guess what that's going to go towards  :)

Should be in this week  :) :)

In scanning the pics  of the parts trees on the WNW site it looks like WNW continues to make improvements and even finer detail, not to mention more optional parts in the 1st boxing !

A question on delivery. I wonder if anyone ordering at WNW shop has got the shipment confirmation email yet?

Thank you, Des.

This must be that couple of hours difference before ordering time. I placed my order at 8 am GMT+1, which must be evening in NZ... Hopefully I will get mine tomorrow. With 15 days delivery time it is the last vague chance to get Dolphin for Christmas. Fingers crossed!  ;)

I got my notice last night, two days after ordering direct from Wingnutwings. I imagine that they have quite a few orders to fill. Now I have to wait for that slow plane from Middle Earth.

My Pre Order from Sprue Brothers shipped yesterday. This one will sit under the tree until Christmas Day. Then it will probably knock a couple of other builds into the temporarily sidelined pile  ::)

Argh! I just (almost) rounded out my WNW Sopwith collection on Black Friday ordering both Snipes, and now there’s another! Sprue Brothers here I come!

To be fair, I only have one of the several Camels and sadly no RNAS Pup, but at least each type they offer is represented in the stash.

So next year. 1 1/2 strutter will have to be added

I ordered the Dolphin, but I can wait for it...no pressing need before Christmas.

Naaaa... a dolphin! No one needs a dolphin, as there's such a great dolphin in 1:48 scale.... ;)
Kidding aside, that one looks very good on the sprues although in my opinion there are many planes in WWI skies that are prettier. I preordered one and can patiently lean back waiting her to arrive across the sea.

I have that one too, along with pheon’s lovely decals for it. I love 1:48 and will continue to! I was just amused that WNW released the Dolphin just days after my Snipes came in.
