This looks interesting. I always enjoy your builds Antonio so I'll take a seat at the back!
Nice work on those bombs too.

Ian, Rick, thanks for your comments.

Yesterday I completed the 4 bombs. Now I'll try to make 4 short bombs...

I am still not able to get hints about their colour.

Hallo friends,
I am back from my summer holidays since Sept 5 but since then I found time to work a couple of hours at the modeling bench just during last weekend...

So I completed the scratch built bomb load to hang to the Michelin device:

here they are

here they are temporarily fitted to the device

In the meantime I studied the way to organize rigging between the wings and the fuselage, here is a sketch I made with the help of the instruction sheet:

I also studied the tail rigging which was not that easy to understand, will post a sketch later.

I made an order to Misterkit for the 5 colors camo:

Chestnut Brown      Misterkit MKFR05 Chestnut Brown
Beige         Misterkit MKFR10 Beige
Dark Green      Misterkit MKFR11 Dark Green
Light Green      Misterkit MKFR12 Light Green
Ecru            Misterkit MKFR03 Light Yellow (undersides)

So, although slowly, things are getting again on the move...

Ciao

Antonio

Very nice progress and I'm very grateful for the rigging diagram. The bombs look nice. And I'm happy that you share your findings - it'll be extremely helpful. Keep up the good work.
Best regards
Filip

Thank you Filip,

From the 5 colours camo I forgot to list the Black.

Of course I didn't need to buy it from Mr.Kit   :-)

The rigging diagram shows my preferred way of rigging, I put eyelets in the wings / fuelage and then I try to use a unique thread to simulate the many cables. The different colours in the rigging scheme indicate that that thread will be mabe by a unique line hooked at the beginning and at the end of the coloured path.

Of course this works better with elastic wire, and sometimes it is not applicable but in 80% of the cases it works.

Nice work on the bombs Antonio. Your rigging diagram is great. Maybe someday I can use it on a WNW kit  ::)

Somehow I missed this. That is an interesting type  and I really like the bomb load and generator. Looking forward to seeing more.

Thank you guys, here are the other sketches I made to complete the study:

The blue line indicates a rigid rod, not a wire.

Thanks for watching!

Hallo mates!

Some news from the Breguet XIV factory...

The Misterkit Paints have arrived,

and the Gaspatch Vickers and Lewis also.

So I invented the two supports for the external Vickers:

The fuselage halves have no matching pin to facilitate the join so I placed a couple of plasticard tunes and copper pins.

I provisionally sticked the sides of the cockpit framework to locate the position, then I  dry joined the 4 sides:

I inserted the white plasticard rod where the control column will go
And prepared the resin seat:

Also the wings have no matching pins to get glued to the fuselage, so I drilled two holes per fuselage half  and inserted as a test 2 chunks of copper wire:

Then each wing has been drilled accordingly:

I did not see any photo of the interiors showing some walls inside the fuselage but I imagined a firewall behind the engine compartment and one small bulkhead behind the gunner just because the cockpit holes are large and looking inside would have shown too much the empty spaces ahead and behind.

In the starboard half I glued two small pieces of plastic to facilitate the glue grip:

That's all for today!

Thanks for watching

Antonio

Really nice work on your interior prep! Also the MG mount looks great! Finally you have done an excellent job on the wing mounts.

Thank you friends, it's really challenging, not easy at all (at least for my "average" capabilities), but I enjoy it for this reason!
