A little more progress. I have added some of the control rigging to the stick and the pulleys on the side. I also added the frames for the engine compartment. The WNW Mercedes is in the picture for test fitting.

Lovely work on the interior Rick, your wood tones look excellent.

Hi Rick, looking good (as usual).  Any issues with the WNW engine fit wise.  Looking forward to your progress.

Just catching up on this one Rick - you are achieving a very high standard indeed on that interior. The wood tones look truly realistic - if the engine looks half as good when finished I will be asking what octane fuel does it burn?!!

Juan,
As always thanks for looking in. So far no real issues with the WNW engine that I wouldn't have had with the kit parts. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Stephen, greatly appreciate your comments. I will do my usual Smoke and Mirrors engine work. Hopefully it will look OK  8)

Outstanding work on the innards, Amigo!  She's shaping up beautifully!

Rick, this coming along beautifully. I hope you're enjoying the build as much as so many of us obviously like following it. You are providing us with a valuable reminder of just what can be achieved with these Roden kits in the hands of a highly skilled modeller.

Best wishes
Nigel

Thanks Andreas I greatly appreciate your comment. I think I said earlier that this will not be quite as nicely detailed as your beautiful DII but I am trying to add some details and make appropriate changes to get a more accurate OAW DIII.
