I am calling this project completed, having finished the final construction and touch ups yesterday. My thoughts on this Kit echo MGunns as he stated them a few days back on completing his USAS Version. His recommendations in point form echo mine; it's a great little kit however the experience can be improved by changing a few components, particularly the replacement of very delicate plastic rigging connectors with metal loops. In retrospect I believe that EZ Line would eliminate the problems as well however I don't like the flat profile of the product and therefore elected to exclude it from the options.
The remaining rigging was added with the completion of the empennage components; I used Modelkasten 0.6 (1:48) elastic line for this step as well as the aileron control lines. The elevator and rudder control horn rear support lines are a very fine mono, probably around 0.07 diameter.

...... and the aileron control lines done with Modelkasten as well:

Next came the Rotherham Air Driven Fuel Pump. While checking photos to confirm it's placement on the cabane strut I noticed that the air pressure line was not included on the kit version. I added the line using fine electrical wire from my "Scratch Bin" and a support strap from Bare Metal Foil.

The last piece to be installed was the prop, the Kit version with it's spinner. With the very small area of wood not covered by paint I deemed it not worth the effort to do a hand carved version.

I have to add that the Machro Setting on this little camera is a very humbling feature, things look pretty rough that close up!
And here's two very quick work bench shots of the completed model. I plan to get some better photos of her later today for the Completed Models posting.

Hope you like it!
Cheers,
