I made some progress yesterday after a marathon of snow clearing and house chores. The decals are completed on the fuselage and weathered to match the distressed paint scheme of the aircraft. The peeled paint areas on the inner lower wings were expanded a small amount to match the reference photos as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of colour the decals add, the profiles of this aircraft appeared very "plain". The dusty looking spots at the wing/fuselage joint just behind the step panels are sanding dust from the lower fuselage/wing joint underneath, they have since been cleaned off!

I've also completed most of the wing decals. On these I've kept the wear to a minimum, just enough to not overly contrast with the severely weathered and worn fuselage. The wing markings will require some post shading to stay consistent with the highlighted main surfaces and I need to add the aileron inspection ports covers as well.

I hope to find time today to complete the Post Shading.
Cheers,
Lance
