Thank you all!
FuselageLet's continue ...
The fuselage was closed, the lower wing glued and the tail planes added, after removing/reconnecting the control surfaces.
Additionally I rounded the transition from wing to fuselage with putty.

The resin struts are very filigree so I have to mount them with 0,3mm brass wire. So the huge openings in the wings are closed with stretched sprue.

The state after a lot of work: the fuselage is primed white, the wing grey (both Alclad). PE added and the engine cover panel painted with dark alu.

The other side. This machine had no guns, so I closed the openings with a new brass sheet, cut out following the outline of a PE (but the PE has holes for the guns).

Some PE parts also for the underside:

Wings and fuselage painted with Alclad semi matt alu. Due to different prime color the wing is darker now.

Looks a more modern fighter with just one wing

Some detail.

The middle wings showed moderate quality after first white primer, so I closed holes and other problems with Gunze surfacer.

After two additional layers of white primer it looks ok to me.

After a lot of masking and painting the shadows are prepared.

After painting with MRP Clear Doped Linen the ribs are still visible on upside.

From the below the ribs and spars are visible. You see also the different look of wings compared to the middle.

That's the actual result:
