You are a Modeler on fire Zac! The wing painting looks great , especially mounted in place. I have done the very same procedure with WNW ailerons Myself  :o

Thanks gents!

Did I attach the rudder, realise I'd forgotten the horn piece and put it back on again? Maybe...!

Very annoyed at myself for leaving green thumbprints on the rudder. That will be interesting to fix.

Thank you all! It's a relief to learn that other builders weren't misleading me: putting the top wing on really is as easy as everyone says. If only I'd overcome my fears and buckled down into the build sooner so I could have bought the other WNW kits I really wanted...

Was getting worried for a mounted  ;)
I always worry about using that term, especially around my wife! She already gives me strife about me doing my modelling "on the catwalk, on the catwalk, yeah?"  :o ;D

Exactly my thought!
How many models do you build in parallel? As many paint shades as on your cutting mat?

But I must admit the Pup looks nice, like a Pup!

Cheers,
Frank

Well, I'm sure you will be able to fix this. I know you are making great progress Zac!

I refuse to answer on the grounds my answer may be incriminating  ;D But you've got to have something to keep you busy while paint/putty/glue dries, right?

But I must admit the Pup looks nice, like a Pup!
Funnily enough that's what I was hoping for!  ;)

Well, I'm sure you will be able to fix this.
Thank you for the vote of confidence, Willem! I think some spare white decal should do the trick...

There's that green issue again:

But with a matt coat it looks a bit better. Anyway, some real progress! (apologies for the lighting, it's 0603hr here and I'm about to head to work):

Hey Zac, you're doing just fine. I wouldn't worry to much about "The Green Issue".

I think she's looking great already!

Thank you for your kind words folks! Easter in NZ normally means a big airshow (unfortunately COVID has put paid to that), but this year for me it means a Pup Rigging Party!

Me too - I enter no competitions, if it looks alright to me then it's alright!  :D

Thank you Rick! I know some people won't touch Tamiya paints with a ten-foot brush but when Dad first let me build a model at age five or six Tamiya was what he used, and so for me. 19yr later I seem to be doing okay  ;)
