F.K. 8 late version CSM 1/48
« on: May 11, 2017, 03:10:19 AM »
Hi, friends!

I started with F.K. 8 late Version, another very nice kit from CSM. Excellent detail, exceptional moulding quality, finely-printed decals and a lot of PE´s.
Last but not least a resin Beardmore 160hp and a fine booklet!

The aircraft I try to build:

I began with the instrument board

Excellent decals for the instruments included!

Cheers,
Jörg

Edgar, you have eyes like a hawk  ;) (and you know your kits like the back of your hand! That´s the reason why you produce such splendid kits!)   :)
I´ll add the round PE part immediately (broke it while making pictures...)

Cheers,
Jörg

Hi Jörg, have to agree with the others, the instruments looks like 1/32.  Great start to a great kit.  Looking forward to your progress.

So glad to see you working on this amazing kit, Jörg!  Filip and I are also working on it, so we've got a group build going!  Your instrument panel look fantastic and gives me something to aspire to!

Extremely well done Jorgo, this is one of the best 1:48 scale instruments panels I have seen, looking forward to following along with this build.

Hi friends, I´m back on the FK 8 late (had a lot of work in real life in the last weeks). The following pics now come along via picload.org - PB for me is over now...

Bending and assembling the PE´s is rather easy, thanks to the excellent work of CSM!

I cut out a small piece of the fuselage, so later on you can see a bit more of the cockpit details

i
the CDL will be simulated by leadfoil or alufoil, I don´t know yet

Cheers,
Jörg

Hello, Edgar! The holes for lacing will be done with a rivetmaker tool and of course additional rib will be added  ;)

Highest regards
