:o I don't know how I managed to miss this thread, but as I am such a
fan of Nieuports, I am blown over by the beautiful models of the bebe!  You
all must take a bow for the excellence shown.  What a lovely little aeroplane
she is and you have captured it perfectly.  Thank you all so much!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

These are all beautiful models of the Nieuport 11 (Bebe) and it is a credit to all the builders, I am definitely going to have to get one of these kits, it is a lovely looking aeroplane.

Beautiful builds by all! I have said recently that I was tempted to do my Special Hobby Nieuport 16. I think I may be convinced now!

Zabu and Jacek:

Both of your builds are outstanding.  The weathering and highlights on the wings really add to the overall look.  Outstanding work guys.

Best

I couldn't resist posting this one.   Again it is the Aurora '77 white box release.  I don't where I got the idea for the markings, I think I saw them in a book or they may have been in the kit.  I know the rockets are totally inaccurate and out of scale, but; I like them anyway so I put them on.  I thought the red scheme and the linen wings was pretty cool too.

Due to the age of the deckles they started to shatter, so I had to be very careful with them.  These were fun builds and a good way to get back into WWI aircraft modeling.  Each one being the learning experience.

Enjoy

Sweet little elderly Nieuport, Mark.  Too bad about the decals, but regardless,
you did a super job on the old kit.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Mark and Paulo, the Bebe is one of my favorite aircraft of the Great War and you two have done amazing work on you respective models.  Mark, Leonardi's scheme is stunning.  You can't beat the Italian schemes for the Nie11, imho.  I wish I could find those stickers in 1/48 scale.  Glad you posted your Aurora kit.  She brings back memories.
Cheers,
Bud
