Well, he certainly made a decent enough start, Amigo.

Sure wish he'd expand on it by at least 2 hours.
Cheers,

And, Sandy...nothing about Orcs or Elves in my inbox yet (signed on to Weta right after reading your post), but nothing on WNW, either.  Seems it's all been swallowed up by some great darkness.
Cheers,
Bud

That trailer was actually to test the RED EPIC Cameras, rented through Portsmouth Rental services that funnily enough belong to Weta Workshop.

Wingnut Wings and all its departments from making movies like LOTR down to the plastic model kits we love are all interlaced with Weta, I wouldn't be surprised if Peter isn't directly involved financially with Weta.

...... aaaaaargh, you spoke too soon, Bud.
I've just had an e-mail from Weta about some bl00dy LOTR ring!

I give up, retreat, run away.

I've also sent them an email complaining that I never signed up for bulk spam mail and I am only interested in WnW news as per my subscription choices on their homepage.

I hope, they will bother your complaint, James!

Ditto.

I also only ticked the box for WnW information.

Edit: One thing I noticed though – one of the fantasy items they were pushing in the email said “3 left in UK warehouse only” another said there were only 2 left. I wonder if this stock level indication will also be applied to WnW items at the various Weta sites?

Hi Guys,

Apologies about this. Weta Workshop Communications team didn't realize that Wingnut Wings had been incorporated under our main mailing list. Will is being corrected and hopefully you won't be receiving updates on Orcs and Hobbit holes in your inbox (unless you have ticked the box).

Cheers

Yes they have already said this, also if your local distribution hub is sold out and another hub has stock you can opt to have it shipped to you via that hub - for added shipping expenses though.

Being able to order from any hub was part of the original intent but this was contradicted in the last WnW press release dated a few days ago (as currently displayed on the WnW website ).

Received news from Wtea today: the "new shop" is supposed to be open on July 5th. Hopefully this will include WNW's stuff as well.

WETA have confirmed that WETA Dollars are applicable to WNW orders.

So you can get up to 15% discount!!

Only thing that concerns me - how can they afford to do this?

(With Sterling's collapse, I'll not be able to afford any anyway!)

Structured & continuous discounts are built into the basic retail price.
