Thanks Bud!!! The woodgrain is oils.
The decals come from the kit, I`ve just toned them down a little bit. I know they are rather controversial with the hex size and colours but they are not bad IMHO.
Not bad at all, Filip!  They look great!
Cheers,
Bud

Excellent wood grain! As for the Hex Decals the size is about right for the "Painted" W4 hex.

Really nice wood painting, Filip!  I thought they were decals at first.
The lozenge looks very good as well.  Any chance of a photo from
above?  Excellent start, my friend!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Really lovely result on the wood grain work Filip - excellent in fact.

I have the Eduard version too but wouldn't it be great if this was one of the new WNW 'forthcomers'

Keep up the great work - it's going to be a stunner if what you've done so far is anything to go by  :)

regards - Tug

Thank you very much for your most kind comments gentlemen!!!
Another update. Putting it all together was a real pain in the ass... (excuse my French) but after a few attempts, I made it. Everything seems to be well engineered but something went wrong with my craftsmanship ;)
She appears to be very clean but she`s a slightly dirty girl believe me  ;)
I`m thinking about bulidng some tiny diorama base with water and the beach, but we`ll see...
I hope the number of pictures won`t make your eyes hurt  ;)

She's gorgeous, Filip!  Your wood grain is superb and you did a brilliant job weathering the floats.
Cheers,
Bud

I agree with BUd! Excellent work on the wood and the floats look great. You have now gone further than I was able to on mine. Never did get the floats on  :-[

Spectacular progress Filip, just great work all round! The combination of your excellent wood representation and the "painted" lozenge look is very impressive, this Build is really looking great. A pleasure to follow your progress!
Cheers,
Lance

Just what I was thinking, Bud.  It really is a terrific job, Filip, and very easy
on the eyes.  I am looking forward to the next pictures, my friend!

Ernie :)

Wow, that is a beauty!

I know I've already commented on the wood work, but it really looks effective; I envy your oil dragging skill!
