Albatros W.4 Eduard 1/48
« on: April 01, 2016, 05:35:59 AM »
Hello,
I always liked this one. I`m really fond of floatplanes and seaplanes. Albatrosses are the most beautiful planes of WWI - the combination of the two is quite alluring.
I`ve added some details to the cockpit and the engine. I know they don`t look sharp but they must do...

I'll be following this Build closely Filip, the W4 has always really appealed to me. I hope to do a 1:32 conversion someday, unless of course Wingnut Wings drops one out of the blue! Enjoy!

Lance

Outstanding work on the wood grain, Filip!  Oils or Uschi decals?  The lozenge look great, too.  Are they the kit decals?
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Bud!!! The woodgrain is oils.
The decals come from the kit, I`ve just toned them down a little bit. I know they are rather controversial with the hex size and colours but they are not bad IMHO.
Best regards
