Even though I'm late to the buying "party" for the Alb. B II, I'll wait for mid month or January to get it.  As far as shipping is concerned, I've always gotten a  confirmation and the shipping from NZ has always been pretty quick.  Of course I live in CA, so it's just a short hop over the Pacific.

I had to speak to Dave (The warehouse manager) today about another order that the tracking number was off (Turns out the shipping docs had fallen off and had been returned to the warehouse) Anyway...... I asked if my Albatros had found its way in to the box and he informed me that it would leave the depot in its own box this afternoon. So I think if you were one of the first to order then no doubt it will go out today as well.

Same here.  Yowza!  I think I'm more excited about this release than any other from WNW.  What I love about this aircraft, the RE8, the BE2e and the Fokker B.I is the unequal wing span, the vast space between wings and the rigging.  It's an evocative, early aviation classic and I hope WNW will do more like it.
Cheers,
Bud

Ordered mine late on the 27th and the invoice said pre-order on it so I  may be waiting for the second batch. No problem, just nice to have this kite kitted!

That's nice. You have a pre-order ;)

Can't see if I have a shipping notice yet. I don't expect mine to arrive before Christmas as these items seem to need ages for passing dutch customs.

regards,
Ivo
