Really great Camels! Love them all!

I agree with my amigo!  Squiffy and Alain, you both have wonderful collections.  I'm envious.  I need to build a few more.
Cheers,

This thread needs a bump!

My 1/32 Academy Camel - complete with an obvious error - can you see it?

It was my first WW1 subject and a learning experience.

Really beautiful Camel. Considering the kit quality I would say Brilliant work! I do see the error, mostly because you mentioned it having one. On the other hand you did follow the directions  8)

I finally built a WNW Camel.  Decals were nightmarish, but otherwise, a delightful project.

Wonderful Bud, a magnificent job! I've done two of these and have 3 (or is it 4?? :o) in the Stash and so far no issues with the decals however I keep hearing about problems with them. The scheme you chose is one of the more attractive out there and you've really done it justice. My compliments on a beautiful model.
Cheers,
Lance

Beautifully done as always Amigo! Colorful scheme, subtle weathering, and the upper wing is perfectly constructed and aligned!

I am planning to build at least four different versions of the Wingnut Wings Camel, and at a stretch, also a "Comic" conversion. My first project was the LeRhone version in the colours of 46 Squadron's 54 victory Canadian Ace Donald MacLaren. His badly weathered F2137 is seen in real form and then as modeled here:

   and finally an overall view:

The Build Log may be found here:

https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=8712.0

The second Camel is a Clerget version representing Flight Commander Mel Alexander's 10 Naval Squadron bird B6289. Another Canadian Ace with 23 Kills he survived the Great War and returned home to Toronto where he enjoyed a long and successful life.

Here's a link to the Build Log:

    Hope you enjoy them!
Cheers,
Lance
