Zoinks! What a beautiful collection of Albatros Scouts this thread has produced- so many attractive schemes. Congratulations on some truly masterful builds, everyone! I humbly offer a small contribution from my collection, a WNW kit marked one flown by Lt. Ulrich Neckel.  Pheon lozenge decals, Barracuda Intake Manifold w/kit piping, Taurus manifold & plugs, RB belts & wood grain templates, rigged with EZ Line, Bob's Buckles & Gaspatch turnbuckles. For those with interest and time to kill, I've posted a link to my slideshow. It illustrates all of the happy accidents and a few other decisions that might have gotten me court-martialed had this been an endeavor subject to military regulations :o:

If you're referring to my Albatros immediately above, thanks for your kind comment, Rick.

I'm finding the work we're seeing here really inspiring. Thanks for sharing it with us. It makes me want to have a go at one myself.

Best wishes

Dave, Beautiful job!  The Stropp version is one of my very favourites.  Well done!
Bertl, What to say about your amazing work that hasn't already been thought of?  Absolute
sublime model, my friend.
Vickers, great work.  The wooden fuselage colour is really well done as is the paint scheme
in whole.  Nice clean model. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Fantastic finish, Rick!  That is one big, beautiful Albatros. Lovely scheme, too.

Rick,

My favorite of your two recent builds.  I also think this is the best work I have seen from you so far.

Regards

Dave
