I elected to finish the flying surfaces next; they are now completely covered in their lozenge pattern fabric decals , rib and edge tapes done, and a sealer coat of Future done.
All Lozenge is from Aviattic, 5 Colour (Faded) using the 45 Degree Joined stock for the upper wing and the same Full Pattern Width applied span wise to the lower wing and flight control surfaces.

The larger sections were segmented to keep the application process controllable.......

The rib and edge tapes were cut from the 5 Colour Upper (White Decal Paper) version and applied with a light application of Microsol to ensure adhesion until the sealer coat was added.

After drying overnight the hand brushed top coat of Future was applied leaving them ready for the national marking decals, then a coat of Vallejo Clear Flat Varnish, and some Post Shading.

Next on the Bench is the Aviattic Siemens-Halske SH III Resin Engine, a "model in itself" which should be a real challenge to this oldster's failing eyes and sausage fingers as Kornbeef calls them!
Cheers,
Lance
