Very nice work, Sasho, the extra fittings are beautifully done. This is an exceptional Build and very enjoyable to follow.

I'll echo what others have said-Great paintwork! The wings and wood are very convincing.
Looking forward to the next update!

Hello guys and gals,

Merry Christmass and happy new year, I wish all the best to everyone and their families!

There was no update for quite some time as I was working on the rigging and it is nearly done - I have to attach the elerons, the tail and the steering cables connecting them :) Then the armament and the tail skid nd it will be finished!

Here are the latest pictures:

Great update.
Incredible job on the rigging. I'm getting ready to rig a Roland. It'll be a walk in the park compared to what you have done!

Man, that is nice, Sasho! Even though I'm just finishing up my DH.2, looking at your model makes me want to build another pusher! :D

Sasho great job!

Love the application of the 3 way splitter far better than the flat PE version! The over all effect is stunning!

Hello and Happy New Year :),

Thank you very much for looking at my build and eventually commenting :) It is very encouraging and push me to continue with the build :)

well the new year came, I got a damn flu and my plan of finishing this build during the holiday went to dust. I was able to just today do some work on the plane and meanwhile my beloved one was able to drop it on the floor and do some damage. The worst is on the undercarriage, where the "fork" for the front wheel is missing and I can't find it. I will have to scratch something or order a new parts from WnW....well I will try scratching it first. There were some damage ont he struts, but I was able to repair it somewhat, not fully but good enough. Well this is a good excuse to get a new one, probably the late version. After repairing it I worked on the tail and the rigging. I have to say that I hate the flat rigging line by WnW. It is terrible and I probably never gona use it again - it is too soft, have to be coloured and actually rigging it without making "corks" or spirals with it is practically impossible! At the end there is not much difference with the regular round rigging line, just it does look worse :( Anyway I also prepared the tqwo guns, I tried the Gaspach guns and I am very glad with them, they have better detail than the original ones. There is only one thing that I don't like - the bag for the empty rounds is only for such position of the guns as if they are horizontal.... what I mean is that if the guns are in position not for firing, then the bags, being made from canvas, should be bent also (picture bellow), but the supplyed ones  are not bent, which is possible only when the guns are horizontal... Well my rant is over, those guns are great.
What is left - the horizontal stabilizer and tail boom rigging, few more lines on the front, attaching the guns, scratching the front wheel holder and the propeller. I plan to carve it from wood and already glued the 7 laminations, but I didn't found time to actually carve it. Hopefully next week.
As usual any comments, constructive criticism, questions or recomendations are more than welcomed

Best regards,
Sasho

It's looking great, Sasho. Sorry to hear about the damage. :'( I'm sure you'll be able to repair and scratch build whatever you have to without too much of a problem.

I noticed the same thing about the bag on the Gaspatch MGs. I used the bag from the DH.2 kit on my Gaspatch Lewis MG because it looks a bit more natural in the way it hangs. The Gaspatch bag looks very stiff. That's my only complaint about the Gaspatch products, though. Otherwise, they are very nice.
