WNW 1/32 Gotha G.IV
« on: October 03, 2015, 12:21:47 PM »
So I finally go this model done.  I actually finished it back in May, the day the Blackhawks beat the Ducks in the Western Conference Finals.  I was so nervous about the game that earlier in the day I tried to take my mind off of it by going do in my workshop and doing something.  So I channeled that nervous energy and after a while I was all done....So for your consideration........

This was a long project, here is the build thread if you want to see more....   http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=4859.0   Thanks for looking.......

I was overly impressed with your build log of this model but to now see it finished is a real eye opener. You have done a superb job with this model, the scheme is fantastic and you applied it perfectly, all I can say is congratulations on producing such a brilliant model.

What a magnificent piece of work! The whole thing eludes class and the build demonstrated skills to which I can only aspire.

Best wishes

A wonderful model. The standard of finish would be impressive enough if on a (tiny) single seat fighter but on this huge beast it's amazing.

Thank you everyone for the kind words,  I have seen many of your own work and it is superb, so coming from this group of modelers it does mean a lot.  Your opinions carry a lot of weight, thank you again.....

I have seen it already in WNW website. Spectacular, just like I would like my Gotha to look like. If I were building one :-)
Still, yours is very appealing. I like the ribs shading, the losenge colours, the rigging, well, everything about it!
