WNW Dolphin...What a nice kit!
« on: May 22, 2018, 02:03:05 PM »
All,

Got her finished to my liking tonight.  Strictly OOB.  I only drilled out the guns.  Only really ill-fitting parts were the clear aileron pulley inspection panels.  But that may have been bits of decal or paint layers...the tolerances on this guy are pretty slim.
On to the pictures (though it's hard to get a nice one!)...

These kits do make an average person look pretty spiffy!  Nice to have this one in the collection.
Thanks for looking and Cheers to All!
Dan

Superb model and interesting and informative build log. Your model, is as usual, one that I would not mind at all having on my shelf...!

Very nicely done Dan,obviously your adventures into paper modelling haven't had a negative effect on your talent with plastic!

Outstanding results in all aspects! I enjoyed following your build. Crisp clean construction and beautifully painted and rigged.

Outstanding job all around.  I love the PC12 replacement wing.

Thanks so much, All...

WNW really do know how to make you look good.  It's fun to paint all the detail and you can enjoy making a nice color scheme rather than worrying about lining things up...though I fear I will get some bad habits from these lovely things!

Much appreciated.  I may start my Taube next...or finish a resin model or... :P

Cheers,
Dan

Very fine Dolphin, Stephen! It looks so finely unusual with those differing hues of the top wings!
